Our first property, located in Westcliffe is one of a kind luxurious log home set against the majestic Sangre de Cristo Mountains in this quaint and picturesque western town that offers a peace and quite and inspiration for those who are artistic. Due to the incredible views it attracts artists and photographers from all over the world. This town is also an international dark sky community which is well suited for the most amazing stargazing experiences. Westcliffe caters to adventurous tourists who seek this hidden gem. It is home to amazing trails, challenging 14ners and about 52 lakes in the vicinity. It is the kind of place where life slows down and you can spend your day either climbing, hiking or climbing or like some, writing their best selling New York book. Our property is unique in that it is surrounded by thousands of Aspens at the base of Spread Eagle Mountain Peak. The view from the living room floor to ceiling windows is sure to inspire you. Whether you stay with us in the summer, fall, winter or spring - the four seasons have much to offer!
Mountain Chic Cougar Cabin in Breckenridge, Colorado
It is no surprise that Breckenridge has been named by many publications like Travel Magazine, the perfect mountain town and voted top 10 most beautiful mountain towns in the United States. It is perfectly situated at the base of Breckenridge Ski Resort and unlike Westcliffe, this little town is full of the hustle and bustle during ski season and during the summer months. While the mountain offers 5 peaks and 2908 skiable acres to explore, it’s the town that sets Breckenridge apart. Full of history and character, Breckenridge shares an incredibly laid-back charm that makes you feel like a local – no matter the season. Take a stroll down historic Main Street and feel the vibrant spirit of eclectic boutiques and après-ski cheer, relax fireside in a cozy café or enjoy summer afternoons on one of our many sun soaked patios and decks. The town is alive with stellar festivities, events and activities complemented by hundreds of restaurants, galleries, cafes, boutiques and nightlife. Our home is situated on the hill opposite the ski resort which offers incredible views and the ability to embark on incredible trails right from our backyard! We are only 10 minutes walking to Main Street so we are close to all the fun but secluded in the mountains and away from the noise. This modest home is rustic in the exterior but mountain chic in the interior offering a laid back vibe with incredible views and a wrap around deck!
Shawn & Vanessa stumbled upon two amazing properties, both in incredibly unique locations. We bought our Breckenridge cabin in 2018 and we bought our Westcliffe log home in 2021. We have been enjoying many family trips and getting the cabins cozy and inviting for our guests. We live in Denver and we try to enjoy both as much as we can since they are our little pieces of heaven. We enjoy mountain biking, skiing/snowboarding, hiking and so we love the fact that you can embark on wonderful journeys right from our backyards! We love to host and know that it is the little things that matter. Many of our guests have become friends over the years! We have over 150 reviews on Airbnb with an average rating of 4.95 and about 20 reviews on vrbo with a perfect 5 star rating! Our homes are not for everyone and those we chose to host enjoy amazing experiences!
